Stick to the Rules to Secure Your Victory
Participants must not use any aids or receive help from non-team members. This includes using tools or devices, or seeking assistance from anyone outside your team. You may use a puzzle box holder.
Spectators are allowed and encouraged but must remain away from competitors and adhere to a respectable behaviour for all competing.
People under 13 years old can register, if they are accompanied by an adult in the pair category
Any questions about the rules or concerns regarding their enforcement should be directed to the competition judges. The judges will provide an official ruling to ensure fair play and adherence to the rules.
Each team will be provided with an identical 500 or 1000-piece puzzle. This ensures a fair competition by giving every team the same challenge. The puzzles are tailor made to ensure no one has completed the puzzle beforehand. Puzzleruae.me takes no responsibility for ensuring any format of puzzle picture. The puzzle will come with a cover displaying the finished puzzle picture. You get to keep the puzzle upon completion.
Teams and individuals will be assigned specific tables in advance. Please use only your designated table to ensure an organized competition setup.
Puzzles must remain sealed in their bags and placed in the center of the table until the official start signal is given by the judge. This maintains fairness and ensures that all teams begin with the same conditions.
Adhere strictly to the time limits set for the competition. Any attempts to gain an unfair advantage will result in disqualification. There will be no breaks in the 3 hours.
The winner of the competition will be the first person/team to finish and complete the puzzle correctly. There will also be recognition for 2nd place runner up. For those that wish to finish once a winner is announced, you have until a given time to complete the puzzle if you wish. If once the maximum time has elapsed and the participants has not managed to finish the puzzle, the judges will count the placed pieces of the unfinished puzzle, adding only the groups of 3 or more pieces correctly joined.
